Every story has an end and now it’s time to write the end of this one. It’s been a great ride. I’ve learned so much, I’ve laughed, got to know so many amazing people, I’ve cried, I’ve panicked but it’s all been so worth it!
However, there are a few things that have changed for me and a few things that I’ve realized in the last few months. I really miss teaching. What’s more, I’ve really missed having a workplace and working with a team of other people. Blogging, although rewarding, can be very lonely work. It’s usually a one-man show. That’s how it was for me, I was doing it all by myself, of course with my brilliant husband by my side for tech stuff. Still, I’ve always found something missing. And that’s the company of other people. Working with a team, having discussions, heck, even arguing about what’s the best way to go forward 😉 In a nice tone though!
As the months passed, especially this year, I was starting to feel isolated (Oh, and the whole Pandemic didn’t really help either) and I started to realize that I actually would rather want to work with others and not on my own. I am a social person and one thing this all has taught me is that I’m actually not as introverted as I thought I was. I need the company of other people and I think it’s absolutely vital for me at this point in time.
So my dear friends, thank you! Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart! It’s been amazing!
