Equipment

  • Belgian Waffle maker

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup porridge oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup soya milk (or any other plant based milk)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  • Measure all your ingredients into a blender. I love to use the Nutribullet for this as it is very handy.
  • Blend the ingredients very well until smooth.
  • Allow the batter to thicken while you heat your waffle iron. It needs about 2 to 5 minutes to reach the desired consistency.
  • Pour the batter into the waffle iron and bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until fully baked.

Notes

These quick and easy vegan breakfast waffles are perfect for batch cooking and freezing. Just pop a frozen waffle into the toaster and enjoy a warm, crispy waffles in minutes.
