Vegan Glazed Chocolate Donuts

These vegan glazed chocolate donuts are so easy to make. All you need is a bowl, a spatula and a donut baking pan. You can have 12 fresh vegan baked donuts in less than 20 minutes.

Equipment

  • Doughnut Baking Tin, Non Stick, Large, 6 Hole

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 180°C on a fan setting.
    Baked donuts
  • Sift all of the dry ingredients together into a mixing bowl and give them a quick mix.
  • Combine of the wet ingredients in a separate bowl and mix them well together. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix until the batter has combined.
  • Spray your donut baking tins with cooking spray and pour the batter into the tins. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick in the center and it comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool completely before glazing them.
  • To make the glaze, mix together 1/2 cup of icing sugar with a tablespoon or two of water. Add food coloring of choice and decorate with sprinkles for some extra fun.
